Good morning Lovelies,
The snow came and was lovely. The silence that blankets the town with the snowfall is beautiful. You appreciate the silence more when all you hear is the bustle of business, it’s nice to only hear the rushing of the Arkansas River every once in a while .
Of course, snow can’t stop the city for long. We’re getting better at not panicking, though bread and milk was definitely gone from the shelves before the snow hit. But the main roads are clear. It’s those who live on the dirt roads or with long driveways that have to fend for themselves and make it out.
Me? It’s time like this I’m glad I live about my store. I doubt I get many customers while it’s like this, but that just means I can do some of the deep cleaning I don’t normally do. We shall see how dead it stays.
Anyway, let’s get to today’s reading.
Four of Swords Reversed. This should have been my life card. The Four of Swords Reversed means you are on the verge of burnout. It would be your dayjob’s doing or it could be your inability to say no when you really should, when people ask for help, or when it comes to you juggle projects. Now is the time to stop. Make your restless body and mind settle so they can rest before you hit a wall that you cannot bounce back off of.
I guess that’s my sign to take this quiet time to just chill. Maybe I’ll start reading my first book of the year.
